what are artistic liberty commissions?
You pay me an amount of money and you receive an experimental art piece proportional to the amount paid.
Buyer may provide no instructions on what they want the piece to look like- that's my choice (Artistic Liberty) but you can tell me about your character which will help give me direction!
Commission TYPES
01. Artistic Liberty Illustration [ SLOTS : 3 ]
Min $10, buyer recieves an art piece or art quantity roughly proportional to the ammount paid. Turnaround times vary greatly.
02. Artistic Liberty Doodle [ SLOTS : 3 ]
Min $5, quick turnaround, buyer recieves an art piece not strictly proportional to the ammount paid. please, do not pay me $50 for one of these expecting a full illustration, these are meant to be quick and easy and rely on the ammount of energy I have that day. They pay for my lunch.

01. Disclaimer
I have a job and school outside of art and get busy often and unexpectedly. I have about 3 hours a day of free time If I go to bed at a somewhat reasonable hour. This time is split between commissions, personal work, and everyday chores. Turnaround times will be Long but i'll do my best to keep you in the loop and finish in a timely manner. Needless to say I will not work with deadlines, please do not commission me with deadlines in mind.
02. Ordering
All orders must be made through Ko-FI. This is to help me keep track of orders and issue refunds much easier. You can pay through ko-fi using paypal and cashapp, and ko-fi has paypal integration. I will not be taking orders directly over Toyhou.se, Discord or Instagram any longer. If you DM me with a commission request, I will probably just direct you to my Ko-Fi.
02. Refunds & Cancellations
Buyer may request a cancellation at any time, however refund ammounts are dependent on how much work was done. If the commission has not been started, a full refund will be given, however if a commission is in progress when the cancellation is requested, only a partial refund may be given.
03. Communication & Creative Control
While my commissions are stated to be Artistic Liberty, many people still request specific details, poses, outfits, etc.
My official statement on this is as follows:
a. I Will not redesign a character for you unless you specifically order a redesign. If you want a piece from me to use a character's updated design, please have that design ready before commissioning me. Requests like "can you draw x character but with these design changes?" are likely to be rejected.
b. I cannot read your mind. Please be clear when requesting details or changes. Try to avoid nondescript requests. Be clear about what you don't want. If an error was made on my part, I will correct it, but i'd like to avoid that as much as possible to begin with.
c. WIPs are limited, waiting for approvals at each phase makes commissions take longer- and given that comms are Artistic Liberty- It's an unneccessary step. I may send you WIPs at my discretion, or you can request they be sent to you, but understand this may slow progress on your commission.
d. Artistic Liberty means Artist's choice- You may provide ideas, inspiration, guidance, etc, however the outcome of the final piece is up to me. I like to keep things in-character, of course, but requests like "Can you draw x and y in these outfits on a sunset beach holding hands and smiling in this style?" are likely to be rejected.
